Is Lance just for freelancers, or can agencies use it too?
Lance is built for independent professionals — freelancers, consultants, designers, developers, photographers, copywriters, and small agencies running lean. If you work with clients and bill for your time, Lance was made for you.
Do my clients need to create an account?
Never. Clients get a private link for proposals, contracts, approvals, and their portal. For contracts, they verify with a one-time code sent to their email.
What happens after my 15-day trial?
After 15 days you choose a plan and continue. If you don't subscribe, your account pauses — we never delete your data.
Does Lance process payments from my clients?
Not yet — Lance doesn't process payments directly. Your clients pay you however they already do, and you mark the invoice as paid in Lance.
Can I cancel any time?
Yes.
Is my data secure?
Yes. Data is stored in Supabase (PostgreSQL) with row-level security, payments via Stripe, email via Resend.
